Meet the Owners
Centroplex opened on March 17, 1988 when two friends decided to start a business of their own. Don Savage and Steve Richardson ran the company successfully for many years together. Don continued on after Steve lost his battle to cancer. When he started to seek retirement, one of the technicians took interest in purchasing the company to continue on their legacy. After working for both Don and Steve for several years, Justin Robins and his wife Sarah took over the company on January 1, 2018.
Justin came to Waco to attend the HVAC program at TSTC. After completing school he sought employment in Waco and has been here ever since. He has been in he HAC industry for over 14 years, the majority of that with Centroplex.
Sarah is a Waco native with family having been here for several generations. After high school, she attended Baylor University and received a degree in accounting. After working in the accounting field for a year after graduation she received an alternative teaching certification and taught 4th grade for several years before having kids and moving to Centroplex full time.
Together they have a 4 year old daughter, Charley and a 1 year old daughter, Noelle. they are active members of Crossroads Fellowship and serve in many capacities there as well as around the community. They are excited to use this business to fulfill their passion of helping people, and continue the legacy that Don and Steve left behind and entrusted to them.
Meet the Team
Julio
Julio is a Waco native and has been with Centroplex over 4 years and in HVAC for 9 years in many different capacities giving him a wealth of knowledge. He serves in the worship band at a local church as a drummer. He is married with a 5 year old son.
Juan
Juan is a Waco native and has been with Centroplex for 4 years and in HVAC for 20. He is especially good with air balancing. He really enjoys both mountain and gravel biking. He is married with 4 sons.
Josh
Josh moved to Texas 3 years ago after working in HVAC as a civilian for a navy base in California. He has been with Centroplex for 1 year and in HVAC for 18 years. He brings a lot of valuable knowledge in commercial HVAC. He serves in the production team at Grace Church in Waco on the sound board. He is married with a 1 year old daughter and a baby on the way!
